Important notice (please read first)
Welcome to Dao Le Me (also referred to as “the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Dao Le Me regarding registration, login, and use of the Dao Le Me application and related services (the “Service”).
Before you register, log in, or use the Service, carefully read and fully understand these Terms in full, especially bolded provisions, including without limitation: nature of the Service and health disclaimers, user conduct rules, intellectual property and content licenses, limitation of liability, and governing law and dispute resolution.
By tapping “Agree”, “Register”, or by actually using the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and the Dao Le Me Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop registering, logging in, and using the Service immediately.
Special statements:
- The Service is a self-management and support tool. It does not constitute medical care, psychological counseling, or emergency services, and cannot replace advice from licensed physicians or other professionals.
- The Service is primarily intended for adults aged 18 and above.
- These Terms are a product compliance template and do not replace professional legal advice. Before formal launch and commercial operation, have counsel review them against your legal entity, markets, and actual features.

1.2 User / you: a natural person who downloads, installs, registers for, logs into, or uses the Service.
1.3 Account: credentials obtained through registration used to log in and use the Service.
1.4 User Content: text, images, audio, comments, profiles, and other information you create, upload, post, or transmit.
1.5 Health-related data: behaviors you voluntarily log in habit tracking, self-rated status, and statistics and achievements derived from them.
1.6 Community: social features in the Service such as posts, comments, likes, rankings, topics, and friends.
2. Scope and changes
2.1 These Terms include this text, the Dao Le Me Privacy Policy, and rules, notices, and feature descriptions we lawfully publish (together, “Platform Rules”). If Platform Rules conflict with these Terms: personal information matters are governed by the Privacy Policy; other matters are governed by the more specific rule or the later, lawfully effective text.
2.2 We may amend these Terms due to legal changes or business needs. We will provide reasonable notice via in-app announcements, dialogs, inbox messages, or similar means, and update the date and version at the top.
2.3 If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide prominent notice; if law requires renewed consent, we will obtain it before you continue use. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account; continued use is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms (unless law provides otherwise).
3. Account registration and management
3.1 Eligibility
You confirm that you are a natural person with full civil capacity and at least 18 years old. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the Service; otherwise you and your guardian shall bear legal consequences as applicable.
3.2 Registration and accuracy
Provide true, accurate, and complete registration information as prompted, and keep it updated. You are responsible for consequences of inaccurate information.
3.3 Account security
Safeguard your username and password and are responsible for activity under the account. You agree to:
- not rent, lend, sell, or share the account;
- not use another person’s account without authorization;
- promptly notify us and change your password if you detect abnormal login or security incidents;
- enable local protections such as app lock when available.
Losses from your failure to safeguard credentials are borne by you, unless law provides otherwise.
3.4 One-user principle and risk control
To protect community order and system security, we may restrict bulk registration, bot registration, API abuse, malicious attacks, and similar conduct, including verification, rate limits, and freezes.
3.5 Account deletion
You may request deletion via in-app flows or customer support. After deletion:
- you can no longer log in with that account;
- personal information will be deleted or anonymized under the Privacy Policy (except where retention is legally required);
- community content may be deleted, anonymized, or retained as required by law;
- virtual benefits (XP, levels, achievements) are generally non-restorable and non-cashable.
Deletion does not release obligations incurred before deletion.
4. Service content and license

The Service may include (features may change over versions):
- account registration, login, and profile management;

4.4 Device and system permissions
Some features require network, notifications, photo library, Bluetooth, or other permissions. You may refuse, but related features may be unavailable. See the Privacy Policy for permission use.
5. User conduct
5.1 Lawful use

- Illegal sexual or adult content: pornography unlawful in your jurisdiction; where restricted adult content is allowed, you must be 18+ and follow rules;

Participate respectfully and supportively. Experience sharing and encouragement are welcome; mockery, flame wars, and extreme content without warning are not.
5.4 Reports
You may report violations via in-product tools or email. We will handle reports within a reasonable time, but do not guarantee any particular outcome.
6. User content and license grant
6.1 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the truthfulness, legality, and rights completeness of User Content. If User Content causes third-party claims, you will resolve them and indemnify us for resulting losses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent permitted by law).
6.2 License
To provide, operate, improve, and promote the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable (solely to provide the Service), transferable (with a business transfer) license to use, store, reproduce, modify (only for format adaptation/safety filtering), publish, translate, display, and distribute your User Content.
After you delete content or your account, the license continues only as needed for:
- reasonable backup/cache purge cycles;
- residual quotes/reposts created by other users’ lawful interactions;
- records required by law.
6.3 Content moderation
We may, but are not obligated to, review User Content. For illegal or violating content, we may warn, delete, limit distribution, suspend features, ban accounts, and report to authorities as required by law.
6.4 Feedback
Product suggestions and ideas you submit may be used by us free of charge unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Health information and disclaimers (important)
7.1 Non-medical nature Logs, statistics, status scores, trends, achievements, meditation audio, articles, and community discussions are for personal self-management and general reference only and do not constitute:
- medical diagnosis, treatment plans, or prescriptions;
- psychological counseling, crisis intervention, or emergency aid;
- any promise of therapeutic effect.
7.2 Seek professional help If you experience severe anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicidal thoughts, or serious addiction-related issues, contact local emergency services or professional care immediately. Do not rely on this app for emergencies.
7.3 Data accuracy Statistics depend on the completeness and truthfulness of your inputs and current model capabilities, and may contain errors, delays, or be unsuitable for your situation.
7.4 Assumption of risk To the maximum extent permitted by law, decisions you make based on Service information and their consequences are your own; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, except where liability cannot be excluded.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 Software, UI, icons, copy, audio, trademarks, logos, and layouts in the Service are owned by us or lawful right holders.
8.2 Without written permission, you may not copy, distribute, mirror, or commercially use such materials.
8.3 IP in User Content remains with you or the original owner; you warrant you have the necessary rights.
8.4 Names and marks such as “Dao Le Me” are protected by law.
9. Paid features, promotions, and third parties (if applicable)
9.1 Some features may be free today; we may introduce subscriptions or one-time purchases and will clearly show price, term, and refund rules before purchase (subject to App Store / Google Play rules and applicable law).
9.2 Purchases via app stores are primarily governed by the store’s terms for payment and refunds.
9.3 The Service may include third-party links or services. Those parties are responsible for their services; review their terms and privacy policies. We do not warrant third-party services except as required by law.
10. Privacy
We process personal information under the Dao Le Me Privacy Policy. Using the Service means you have read that policy. Rules for sensitive or health-related information are set out in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes, interruption, and termination of the Service
11.1 We may change, suspend, limit, or end part or all of the Service for business reasons, and will use reasonable efforts to give advance notice (except for urgent security cases).
11.2 We may limit or terminate service to you if:
- you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms;
- you engage in illegal or high-risk conduct;
- required by regulators or courts;
- force majeure or material change makes continuation impossible;
- long-term inactivity under cleanup rules (if any, to be announced separately).
11.3 After termination, we handle data under the Privacy Policy, except where law requires retention.
12. Breach
Depending on severity, we may:
- warn, delete content, or limit features;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- preserve records and report as required by law;
- seek damages to the extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability and indemnity
13.1 As is To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, etc.), except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
13.2 Cap To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed fees you actually paid us for the disputed matter in the prior 12 months (for free service, the minimum amount allowed by law). We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, goodwill loss, or indirect or punitive damages, except where such limitation is prohibited.
13.3 Your indemnity If your breach of these Terms or infringement causes loss to us or third parties, you shall indemnify resulting losses and reasonable enforcement costs.
13.4 Mandatory consumer protection If mandatory consumer protection laws where you live provide stronger rights, those rights prevail.
14. Export controls and lawful use
You agree to comply with applicable export control, sanctions, and anti-money-laundering laws, and not use the Service in sanctioned regions or for prohibited purposes.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules and excluding laws of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), without prejudice to mandatory rights you cannot waive.
15.2 Disputes should first be negotiated in good faith; failing that, submit to a people’s court with jurisdiction at our domicile. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, if any, control.
15.3 If you are in the EU or similar regions, you may also have rights to seek relief in local courts or ADR bodies where applicable by law.
16. Notices
We may notify you via:
- in-app announcements, dialogs, or inbox messages;
- system push notifications;
- email you provided (if any).
Notices are deemed delivered when sent or published (unless law provides otherwise). Keep contact details valid.

17.2 Severability: invalidity of one provision does not affect the rest.
17.3 Waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
17.4 Assignment: we may assign rights and obligations under these Terms with lawful notice; you may not assign without written consent.
17.5 Language: the Chinese version prevails. Translations are for convenience only; in case of conflict the Chinese version controls, except where mandatory local law requires the local language.
